Hey, I'm Madi! A creative, detail loving, paint splattered, idea dreaming, chaos coordinating girl just trying to make life a little more meaningful, one project at a time.

THE GIRL BEHIND THE PRETTY THINGS

A little about me

I’m a small-town girl who has always loved making things, finding the little details, and turning ideas into something real.

Creativity has been a part of me for as long as I can remember — from art projects as a kid, to stickers, to banners, to building a business that allows me to pour my heart into what I love.

I’m a wife, a mama, a dog lover, an outdoors enthusiast, a sourdough-curious baker, a creative who always has about 47 ideas going at once, and currently being held hostage by a tiny gray cat named Ember.

I love being outside, making things, finding little adventures, and spending time with my people — when I’m not working, of course.

Basically, I like making things, going places, and occasionally starting projects I absolutely did not need to start.

TATTOOS

Probably more than I need. Definitely not as many as I want.
I love tattoos because they feel like little pieces of art that get to come with you wherever you go.

MAKING THINGS

I have approximately 47 hobbies at any given moment and will probably pick up another one before finishing half of them.

LOADED TEAS

If you see me out and about, there is a pretty solid chance I have a giant cup of something colorful in my hand.
I don’t make the rules.

WITCHY, BUT NOT WITCHY

I love the feeling of the witchy aesthetic — moons, stars, crystals, earthy colors, old books, herbs, candles, a little bit of mystery — but I’m not over here brewing potions in the woods.
It’s more of an aesthetic and a vibe than anything else.
Think earthy, mystical, a little weird, but still very much me.

THE OUTDOORS

Give me mountains, trees, fresh air, a pretty view, and somewhere to wander around and I’m happy.

AND, THEN THERE'S EMBER...

She’s tiny. She’s gray. She’s cute.
She’s also currently holding the entire household hostage.

Moonlight might have my name all over it, but my life certainly doesn’t happen in a studio by myself.

There’s Brandon, Trace, Cooper, and Ember — my little crew, my biggest distractions, and a pretty huge part of why I do what I do.

Building a business that fits into our life instead of taking over our life has become really important to me.

Because at the end of the day, the whole point of all of this is getting to build a life I actually love living.

Moonlight Ink Co. has grown into a lot more than the business I started six years ago. And honestly? I think that's one of my favorite things about it.
